The diaphragm is part of the ChemSaver® anti-drip system located in the unique nozzle body for rigid pipes. A pressure of 10 PSI is required for the diaphragm to retract and let water flow freely. When pressure is under 10 PSI, the diaphragm blocks the water flow to prevent dripping. It consists of an EPDM membrane making it very resistant.
