The plasticulture equipment Rain-Flo model 1670 is a transplanter for setting plugs, pots, or bare root plants through mulch film.
HERE'S HOW IT WORK
- Water from the tank is directed into the center of the planting wheel
- The spikes on the planting wheel pierce the mulch film and fill the hole with water
- The operators, riding close to the row, can hand set the plants into the holes at the proper depth
