The dial with stake indicates the irrigation system’s water pressure level. It is use to see whether pressure is constant, increasing or decreasing. This way, if need be, you can adjust the pressure regulator to ensure adequate irrigation. The stake is inserted directly into the soil '' the tube, in the head pipe.
