The Thermoperfo mounting base is the middle part of the ground cover perforator (see the Tips tab). Its female threaded tip is mounted directly onto the torch, then the desired cap is attached to its end with a set of screws.
When the torch is in use, the flame heats the cap walls. Once hot, these easily perforate any type of ground cover.
NB – The socket can be very hot after heating and stay hot for a while.
